FAQ > General > How should samples be delivered?
If your water test includes bacteria, we need to receive the sample within 30 hours of sampling. Samples can be delivered in person, and we have a convenient after hours drop box. We also accept samples on Saturdays via the drop box in Derry before 5pm. Analysis of the Saturday samples will begin that day at 5pm. Please consider sample hold times when using drop box. If you are not local to our lab, you can UPS or FedEx the samples, or work with your local post office to ensure next day delivery.
We also have many free and convenient drop-off locations throughout the state. If you choose to use a drop off location, these samples will be received by the lab the following day. Please bring water samples to the drop-off the same day they are sampled, and do not bring samples on a Friday.
